Membership is open to any individual interested in furthering the purposes of the Building Enclosure Council of Iowa (BEC-Iowa).  Membership offers access to an interdisciplinary forum of architects, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, contractors, building officials, and other professionals who share a commitment to the advancement of resilient, high performing, and energy-efficient building enclosures.  Please support our mission by becoming a member during this important phase in our organization’s development.  We encourage all members of BEC-Iowa to become members of the AIA and/or NIBS.

We offer the following membership options*:
Standard Membership – $55
Student Membership – $15

*If you choose to purchase a stand-alone membership, you will be required to pay for each meeting you attend.

For the best return on your membership investment, consider a Member Package! Members receive a 20% discount on event pricing, in addition to the already reduced member pricing for events!  Membership Packages include a single full-price membership and pre-payment for five public meetings at a discounted rate.  Take advantage of this one-time membership fee which includes the cost to attend all of our standard events!

Tax Deductions: The Building Enclosure Council of Iowa has qualified for tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Donors may deduct contributions in accordance with IRC Section 170.  The Building Enclosure Council of Iowa is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.  Please consult with your tax advisor for final determination of deductibility.
