Presented by: Pete Evans AIA IDSA

Pete Evans AIA IDSA is an assistant professor in the Industrial Design department at Iowa State University with over 25 years of industry experience. Pete’s teaching, scholarship and research involve mixed reality (VR and AR) simulation, prototyping, design and communication; impacts of 21st-century skills on K-16 students and workforce; UXUI, HCI and human centered design.

Pete received a Master of Industrial Design from Iowa State University in 2017, a Human Computer Interaction Master Certificate from Iowa State University in 2014, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University in 1995.

Presentation Summary:

The meeting will start off with a presentation about the 3D AIT Housing Project, followed by a walk to the communications building to see the test shed structure, and possibly the communications building and some of the equipment.  Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
